Hey there, I’m Ocean

I’m the girl behind the lens, and the owner of Ocean Breanne Photography. I'm also a proud wife, mama to two amazing kiddos, and fur-mama to an energetic (and slightly chaotic) golden retriever who keeps life anything but boring. I grew up in Golden, BC - and though the mountains will always have a piece of my heart, Edmonton has been home for the past 16 years.

Photography was something I admired for years - the artistry, the emotion and the way a single frame can hold so much. But it wasn’t until I started my maternity leave in 2023 where my interest grew, and I decided to pursue it with intention. And somewhere along the way, everything just clicked.

As a photographer, I pride myself on creating an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. I know being in front of a camera can feel intimidating (trust me, I get it) which is why I try to create a relaxed and easy-going experience. A mix of candid moments, and gentle direction to help you feel comfortable, while still creating something beautiful and intentional.

My shooting style leans into a documentary feel to capture those in-between candid moments, paired with subtle guidance to create those artfully composed photographs that you'll want to frame. When it comes to editing, I aim for true-to-colour, timeless, natural and polished. I prioritize soft flattering tones and subtle contrasts to enhance features, without overshadowing them.
