I've always been drawn to stories.
Long before photography, I loved writing. As a little girl I spent hours filling notebooks with stories. My imagination was always running a little bit faster than my pencil could keep up. And although I loved writing, I could never quite find the words to express exactly what I saw in my mind.
It wasn't until years later, when I picked up a camera, that I realized photography gave me something words never quite could; a way to tell stories I had always wanted to tell.
My approach
As a photographer, I pride myself on creating an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. I know being in front of the camera can feel intimidating (trust me, I totally get it!) which is why I try to create a relaxed and easy-going experience. A mix of candid moments, and gentle direction to help you feel comfortable, while still creating something beautiful and intentional.
At the end of it all, my goal is simple: I want you to walk away not only with photos that you love, but an experience that felt fun, genuine and completely stress-free.
More tid-bits about me
I married the love of my life in 2022, and I am a proud mama to two amazing kiddos (as well as a fur-mama to an energetic and slightly chaotic golden retriever who keeps life anything but boring).
I grew up in Golden, BC; and although the mountains will forever and always have a piece of my heart, Edmonton has been home for the past 16 years.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me soaking in the sweet (and busy) days with my little ones. Basically juggling snack requests and baby snuggles on repeat. I can also be found brunchin' with my besties, planning our next family weekend getaway or watching a good spooky movie (or, let's be honest, maybe a bit too much reality tv).
